even though the following pics are all A.I, they show a ‘boho over 60’ look can work – long gray hippie hair, threw in some boho clothes for older women, and we’ve got the look!
the Goa beach fantasy

boho white top and white jeans outfit
some hippy, white cheesecloth shirt and white jeans outfits, I think the A.I created some (realistic) attractive looks for women over 60 with long gray hair

in the below pic, love that the A.I started freestyling and added a boho floral headband, while simultaneously giving ‘her’ a sort of, aware of her own, you know, aging (ok, full disclosure, was struggling to come up with the right generational ‘born a rebel’ that refused to abide by ‘society’s rules’ type descriptors, so consulted with ChatGPT, – chatgpt “She wears her flower crown with a wry smile — not trying to be younger, just proving that freedom never ages.” – love chatgpt, thank you chatgpt!

some A.I pics showing how well gray jeans and casual blue or gray cheesecloth tops can work with long gray hair

cheesecloth top outfit
suddenly these (A.I) women look old, are dressing ‘age appropriate’, have ditched ‘their’ jeans, and voila – replacing the look with a matching cheesecloth set, they (or should I say, me, not keeping my eye on the prompt, but what came out of a bad prompt was interesting) have aged themselves.

Same hair & faces but now they’re old – a lesson in making sure to not pick a cheesecloth twin set when heading out to that Goa beach!
Can long gray hair work for women over 60 – yes!
Yes! long gray hair over 60 can definitely work! Ok, some may say ‘but these were all only A.I pics’, but I personally think they were realistic enough to show that ‘boho over 60’ is a look that can be made to work. It isn’t aging, isn’t so self-aware you fall into the category of trying too hard & looking so tragically like the aging stereotype, older woman unable to deal with the aging process. I would say these looks actually ARE ‘age appropriate’, they look & feel so natural (I’d love to meet up with these (A.I) hippies!). If you check back in with this blog (or follow me on Pinterest – https://uk.pinterest.com/beinganoldlady/ -), I’ll follow up on this with a ‘shop the look’ type post, covering where to buy these types of clothes.
